Abnormal pap smears during pregnancy as termed is common. It is observed that if an abnormal Pap smear test is due, the doctor is going to perform them. The only difference is that there is an increase in the level of bleeding. On all counts it is safe for an abnormal pap smear done during the course of pregnancy. In some cases, treatment could be delayed till the pregnancy is done and over.
